Dade Medical College Now Offering Medical Billing and Coding Diploma Program
Enrollment is now open for Dade Medical College's new Medical Billing and Coding diploma program at the school's recently constructed Hollywood Campus.
MIAMI, FL, April 09, 2010 /Employment - Careers PR News/ -- Last month the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and the Florida Commission for Independent Education approved Dade Medical College's new Medical Billing and Coding diploma program. Today, enrollment is now open at the school's recently constructed Hollywood Campus (6837 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024) and classes will officially commence on May 3rd, 2010.
The new program comprises 69 quarter credits or 800 clock hours during the span of 10 months and instructs students how to properly and accurately bill for patient services and procedures. Topics covered include medical terminology, human diseases, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and more. One of the objectives of this program is to prepare students to be proficient at utilizing the universal coding system.

Founded in 1999, the school currently operated four campuses. The main campus is located at 3721-1 NW 7th Street, Miami, FL 33126. The Hialeah Campus (built in 2007) is located at 2750 W 68th Street, Suite 202, Hialeah, FL 33016. Dade Medical College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (Miami Campus) and is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. Dade Medical College has also been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, the Florida Board of Massage and is a member of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges.
