Free Job Hunting Assistance Group for Central Jersey and Metro Boston
Passes High-Growth Milestone
FREEHOLD, NJ, July 29, 2010 /Employment - Careers PR News/ -- The Good Samaritan Networking Group (GSNG) announced today that it has grown to over 800 members and added a new blog to its communication toolset. This volunteer group is a non-profit, no-fee organization - based entirely online - that helps people find jobs.
Since its inception in 2007, the GSNG has been dedicated to helping people network, get interviews, and find new jobs. It has also been a source for employers and recruiters seeking to post job opportunities and find qualified employees. The group regularly distributes information regarding job openings, job hunters, and job hunting resources. Many of the job openings and job hunters are located in Central New Jersey and the Boston metropolitan area, but the GSNG is by no means limited to these job markets. Similarly, many of its members are in the high-tech industry but the group is not limited to that specific industry focus. The GSNG is sponsored by the Colts Neck Reformed Church and is open to anyone.
The GSNG recently expanded its services and has added a new blog which will offer tips on job hunting and networking. The first post, "Top 5 Ways to Use LinkedIn In Your Job Search", helps job seekers understand the importance of social networking as part of their overall career search strategy.
