Wage Garnishment Becoming More Frequent Effort of IRS But Blue Tax Prevails

Blue Tax attorneys once again Provide Relief Against Wage Garnishments

LOS ANGELES, CA, January 31, 2011 /Employment - Careers PR News/ -- Wage garnishments by the IRS are becoming more and more prevalent as the IRS becomes increasingly aggressive in pursuing tax debts in this struggling economy. The Blue Tax team of highly trained and experienced attorneys recognizes this and has perfected an effective technique to combat these garnishments for their clients.

An example being Blue Tax client Ms. Avril J. (Alexandria, VA) who came to the tax consultation offices with a tax debt of over $62,000 and a wage garnishment. She was in non-compliance and now was forced to address her tax debt due to the garnishment. The challenge for the Blue Tax team was bringing the client into compliance, and then preparing her financials to get Avril on a realistic installment agreement that accurately reflected her fiscal circumstances.

The ultimate goal of Blue Tax was to quickly get the wage garnishment released. By expediting and filing Avril quickly, Blue Tax was able to get the wage garnishment lifted as planned. Then, the Blue Tax team proceeded to prepare the client's financials. Once the financials were completed, they had the client forward them all of the additional required documentation to present to the IRS.

Once Blue Tax submitted financials and supporting documents, it was evident that the client could in no way afford to pay this debt back. In addition to successfully negotiating the client's garnishment release, the Blue Tax team was also able to file all missing returns and negotiate a Currently Non-Collectible (CNC) status for the client. All of this was accomplished in a little over three months. Avril now doesn't have to be worried about paying back the $74,632 (actual owed amount calculated after filing the missing returns). If her income doesn't change through 2015, her Collection Status Expiration Date (CSED) will lapse and she won't even be liable for the original $62,000.
