GURABO, PR, April 14, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dr. Iris N. Lopez Sanchez to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As an Administrator with the Administration for the Training of Future Entrepreneurs and Workers, as well as throughout her incredible 33 year career, Dr. Lopez Sanchez has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 1985, the Administration for the Training of Future Entrepreneurs and Workers (AAFET) provides training to young people between the ages of 14-29 years, who have left the system of formal education and are unemployed. They prepare them to develop their skills in different vocational skills so they can achieve and maintain employment and / or establish their own business.
The AAFET offers courses in various categories of manufacturing, engineering, construction and service, which have an emphasis on labor market demands. They also provide training for displaced workers, who qualify to learn a trade where they can reestablish themselves and return to work. In addition, the AAFET is an employer that offers equal employment opportunity to all persons without discrimination on any of the terms protected by law.
During her collegiate career, Dr. Lopez Sanchez earned a Doctorate degree in Education and Administration, a Master's degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Puerto Rico. She is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the League of United Latin American Citizens. She is also a Member of the Puerto Rico State Work Investment Act Board.
